4. Suspension kits also increases the vehicle's capacity to carry heavier loads versus a vehicle on stock suspensions.

5. It will definitely make any ride look better. A lifted 4x4 with a set of huge, aggressive tyres? No doubt.

CONS

1. Bigger tyres means more power is needed to spin your wheels. This means higher fuel consumption.

2. Lifting a vehicle will affect its handling especially during sharp turns. There is a bigger chance for a rollover if the driver miscalculates his speed.

3. Tinkering with a vehicle's suspension system might affect its warranty as some manufacturers don’t want to cover vehicles with modified suspensions. Check with your dealer before altering anything on your truck. 

4. Lastly, take into consideration the annoyance factor of climbing in and out of a high vehicle. Picture yourself and your family climbing in and out of your your ride ... Best get the approval of the missus first ...
